Did Buttigieg do anything? It appears not.

President Donald Trump’s second term is off to a powerful start—and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is making it clear: this administration has already accomplished more in just 100 days than the Biden administration did in four years, especially when it comes to transportation, infrastructure, and economic policy.

Duffy’s remarks came after former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg—a key figure in President Joe Biden’s cabinet—posted a message complaining about inflation, stock market volatility, and economic uncertainty. Buttigieg’s post included a video but failed to mention a single accomplishment in the field of transportation.

Secretary Duffy didn’t hold back.
“We’ve achieved more in 100 days than Biden and Buttigieg did in their entire term. Pete says nothing about infrastructure because he accomplished nothing. Under President Trump, we’re tearing out the radical Green New Scam and eliminating harmful DEI mandates. We’re focused on real results for the American people,” Duffy wrote.

President Trump echoed those sentiments in a previous statement, sharply criticizing Buttigieg’s track record.
“He was a disaster as a mayor, and he was even worse as Transportation Secretary. He didn’t fix roads, didn’t improve railways, and failed American commuters,” Trump said.

Buttigieg, who previously served as the Democrat mayor of South Bend, Indiana, recently announced he won’t run for governor or U.S. Senate in Michigan in 2026, despite speculation from within his party.
“I care deeply about Michigan’s future, but I’ve chosen not to enter either race,” he said.

As Trump’s administration pushes forward with pro-growth infrastructure projects, cutting wasteful spending, and rebuilding America’s roads, highways, and energy independence, the contrast with the Biden years is undeniable. Conservatives say the difference is night and day.
