Trump isn’t playing games with America’s worst criminals.

In a major reversal of one of Joe Biden’s most controversial actions, the Trump administration has begun sending violent offenders — individuals Biden personally spared from death row — to the nation’s toughest federal prison: the ADX “supermax” facility in Florence, Colorado.

The Department of Justice confirmed to Fox News Digital that two more inmates from Biden’s mass-clemency list were transferred on Thursday. These criminals, once shielded by Biden’s last-minute commutations, will now spend the rest of their lives in the most secure federal prison in America.

This latest move is part of Attorney General Pam Bondi’s broader effort to restore law and order, reverse dangerous leniency, and ensure violent offenders face real accountability.

Biden’s Eleventh-Hour Clemency Wave Backfires

Before leaving office, Biden commuted the sentences of 37 death-row inmates, many convicted of brutal murders. Families and law-enforcement officials were blindsided, calling the decision a political stunt designed to appease the far-left.

Now, under President Trump, the Justice Department is working to correct course.

Officials say all 37 commuted inmates will be transferred into the supermax system by early next year — a direct response to Biden’s widely criticized decision to soften penalties for hardened criminals.

Bondi made it clear: while commutations cannot be reversed, their conditions of confinement absolutely can.

“These monsters will now spend their lives in the highest-security prison this country has,” Bondi said. “Victims’ families deserve justice — not political favors.”

Why These Inmates Were Moved: The Crimes Were Beyond Heinous

Case 1: A Killer Obsessed With Revenge

One of the transferred inmates tracked his former girlfriend across multiple states. He cut the phone lines to her apartment, poured gasoline through the building, and set it ablaze.

She survived — barely — suffering severe burns.

But two months later, he followed her home to Virginia and shot her dead in the street. The attack happened just steps from her mother.

Case 2: The Corrupt “Robocop” Police Officer

The second inmate, a New Orleans police officer nicknamed “Robocop” for his size and aggressive tactics, used his badge to run a criminal operation.

FBI wiretaps caught him ordering the murder of a mother of three who came forward to file a complaint about his brutality.

Investigators later uncovered a cocaine-protection racket inside the police department, with “Robocop” at the center of it.

His corruption also helped free four wrongfully convicted men — including three teenagers — after evidence emerged that he lied under oath during murder trials.

These are the individuals Biden protected with commutations.

What Makes ADX Florence Different? True Maximum Security

ADX Florence is not a typical federal prison — it is the toughest and most secure facility in the United States. Inmates spend up to 23 hours a day in isolated cells designed to prevent escape, violence, or communication with the outside world.

Some of the world’s most dangerous criminals are housed there:

  • Ramzi Yousef (1993 World Trade Center bomber)
  • Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (Boston Marathon bomber)
  • “El Chapo” Guzmán (Sinaloa Cartel kingpin)
  • Mamdouh Mahmud Salim (al Qaeda co-founder)

It is the facility designed for terrorists, cartel bosses, and ultra-violent offenders — exactly the type of criminals Biden chose to spare.

Bondi Responds to Victims’ Families Biden Ignored

Shortly after taking office, Bondi met with families whose loved ones were murdered by the inmates Biden released from death row. Many said they were never notified Biden was planning to act. Some learned about the commutations from the news.

Under Trump, they are finally being heard.

Bondi issued directives to the Bureau of Prisons in February ordering a complete reevaluation of where these inmates should be housed — and ADX quickly became the obvious choice.

The Biden administration promised “criminal justice reform.”

What victims received instead was fear, confusion, and zero notice.

The Bottom Line: Trump Is Restoring Justice After Biden’s Reckless Decisions

With each transfer to ADX, the Trump administration is reinforcing a clear message:

America will not tolerate violent criminals — and political favors will not override justice.

Under President Trump and Attorney General Bondi, public safety comes first, victims come first, and the rule of law comes first.

Biden’s commutions may have spared these killers from death row.

Trump is ensuring they face the next-harshest reality: life inside America’s most unforgiving prison.
