Maduro Faces Charges in the United States
Maduro, along with his wife and son, was transported to New York to face federal charges after being taken into custody during a nighttime military operation authorized by President Trump.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that Maduro has been indicted in the Southern District of New York on multiple counts, including alleged narco-terrorism conspiracy. Authorities noted the investigation has spanned more than a decade, with previous indictments dating back to 2020.
