Schiff is feeling the heat.

The tables may finally be turning on Rep. Adam Schiff, as a Trump-era prosecutor officially joins the federal bench—and legal heat mounts around Schiff’s own alleged mortgage fraud scheme.

In a dramatic showdown Tuesday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Emil Bove—President Donald Trump’s former defense attorney and Justice Department official—to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. The 50–49 vote came amid a firestorm of Democrat outrage, whistleblower claims, and political posturing, especially from none other than California Democrat Adam Schiff.

This comes as Schiff himself faces criminal referral to the Justice Department, with accusations that he falsified mortgage documents to obtain sweetheart deals on multiple luxury homes.

Trump-Backed Prosecutor Confirmed Despite Democrat Attacks

Bove, who previously represented President Trump during his high-profile legal battles, and later served as a top official in Trump’s Justice Department, faced stiff opposition during his confirmation process. Whistleblowers—reportedly tied to immigration court cases—claimed Bove encouraged them to ignore judicial orders and allegedly misled the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Not a single Democrat voted for Bove, and only two moderate Republicans—Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME)—joined them.

But longtime conservative Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) stood firm, saying Bove had been the target of “unfair and politically motivated attacks.”

“He’s more than qualified. These accusations are flimsy at best,” Grassley said on the Senate floor.

Schiff Erupts Online as Pressure Mounts

Within minutes of the vote, Schiff took to X (formerly Twitter), accusing Republicans of “corrupting the bench” and warning Bove posed a threat to the rule of law.

“Even though it’s obvious he wasn’t truthful—and even though his appointment threatens the integrity of our legal system—the degradation of the judiciary marches on,” Schiff complained.

But critics say Schiff’s outrage may be less about judicial integrity—and more about his own growing legal troubles.

Mortgage Fraud Allegations Haunt Schiff

In a letter sent to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in May, FHFA Director William Pulte accused Schiff of doctoring financial records tied to real estate deals in both California and Maryland.

According to the letter, obtained by Fox News Digital, Schiff allegedly altered bank documents and property records to receive favorable loan terms on a luxury Potomac, Maryland home between 2003 and 2019.

This has triggered calls from lawmakers and watchdog groups for a full-scale federal investigation. So far, the DOJ has declined comment, but the pressure is mounting.

“If any average American had done what Schiff is accused of, they’d already be in handcuffs,” one senior GOP aide told us.

President Trump: ‘Schiff Is a Scam Artist’

President Trump responded swiftly, taking to Truth Social to reaffirm what many conservatives have long believed.

“I’ve long believed that Shifty Adam Schiff was a con man,” Trump posted on July 15. “And now we’re hearing that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division suspects he may have been involved in an ongoing scheme of mortgage fraud.”

Trump has long accused Schiff of being part of the D.C. swamp, especially after Schiff led the first impeachment attempt against him in 2019.

Schiff Tries to Play Victim—Again

In a defiant post on social media, Schiff attempted to play the victim card:

“This baseless attempt at political retribution won’t stop me,” Schiff wrote. “Not by a long shot.”

But the facts say otherwise. A sitting U.S. Senator now stands accused of manipulating financial institutions to benefit personally—and the man leading the DOJ’s legal cleanup just took a seat on the federal bench.

The Bottom Line

With Schiff under criminal scrutiny and Trump’s legal allies rising to powerful positions, it appears that accountability may finally be knocking at the Democrats’ door.

For years, conservatives have demanded equal justice under the law. With this new chapter unfolding, the American people may finally get it.
