This is unbelieveable.
A shocking report has exposed how Chicago police officers were allegedly ordered not to respond when federal immigration agents under President Trump’s ICE called for help during a violent confrontation outside the city.
According to Fox News, an internal dispatch shows that the chief of patrol instructed officers to “stand down” as Border Patrol and ICE agents were surrounded by a hostile crowd after a ramming attack on the city’s southwest side.
The dispatch alert read: “Chief of Patrol requests that no units respond at this time. The caller is among roughly 30 armed ICE agents currently surrounded by a large crowd.”
Federal officials say 10 vehicles boxed in the agents, who had been monitoring anti-ICE protesters near a Chicago neighborhood. When the confrontation turned violent, one armed suspect was shot after allegedly ramming into a federal vehicle.
Chicago Police Deny “Stand Down” Order — But Evidence Tells Another Story
By Sunday, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) tried to downplay the controversy, claiming officers were “on scene” and maintaining traffic safety. But the dispatch message reviewed by Fox News paints a much different picture — one where local police refused to assist federal officers under siege.
CPD’s statement said supervisors decide responses in immigration-related cases “in accordance with City law,” a clear nod to Chicago’s long-standing sanctuary city policy that often puts politics ahead of safety.
Armed Mob Attacks Trump’s Federal Agents
Homeland Security officials described the scene as “domestic terrorism.”
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin confirmed that one suspect, Marimar Martinez, was armed with a semi-automatic weapon and had publicly doxxed ICE agents online, urging her followers to “attack.”
When agents were surrounded and outnumbered, they were forced to open fire in self-defense. Martinez was wounded and later checked herself into a hospital. Another suspect, Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, was arrested for his role in the coordinated ramming attack.
“Trying to intimidate law enforcement will not slow us down,”
declared FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino. “The mission will not stop.”
Feds Slam “Unacceptable Violence” as Trump’s Operation Faces Resistance
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago called the situation “a serious attack on law enforcement” and vowed to prosecute anyone — including public officials — who obstructs federal officers.
The agents were part of Operation Midway Blitz, a new Trump administration initiative targeting criminal illegal immigrants protected by Illinois’ sanctuary laws.
Officials say protesters threw rocks, smoke, and gas canisters, damaging ICE vehicles and forcing agents to flee one vehicle that was later destroyed. Ten individuals have now been charged in connection with the mob violence.
Pritzker Defends Sanctuary Policies — While Chicago Burns
Instead of condemning the violence, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker lashed out at President Trump and federal agents, accusing them of “unprecedented aggression” against Illinois residents — even as mobs attacked law enforcement.
Critics say this response highlights the deep divide between sanctuary state Democrats and Trump’s America First approach to law and order.
Law and Order or Lawlessness?
The Broadview ICE processing center has become a flashpoint in the fight over illegal immigration. While Trump’s federal agents are risking their lives to restore border integrity, local officials appear to be siding with chaos, not country.
Ten arrests. Vehicles destroyed. Agents surrounded. And through it all — Chicago police allegedly told to stand down.
As the nation watches, the question remains:
When did protecting America’s borders become a crime in Democrat-run cities?
