AOC is out of her mind!
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sparked widespread backlash this week after making an extraordinary accusation against Vice President JD Vance amid growing national attention on a deadly confrontation involving federal immigration officers in Minnesota.
While speaking with reporters on Capitol Hill on Friday — including Fox News — Ocasio-Cortez accused the vice president of supporting what she characterized as an America where lethal force against civilians is acceptable. Critics immediately blasted the claim as reckless, misleading, and disconnected from the facts of the case.
The remarks followed Wednesday’s fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. The incident occurred after Good confronted agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement while remaining inside her vehicle during an active federal operation. Footage of the encounter quickly circulated online, fueling emotional reactions and partisan outrage.
Democrats and progressive activists rushed to condemn the shooting, while the Trump administration strongly defended the ICE agent involved, emphasizing the increasing dangers faced by federal law enforcement officers amid rising hostility and interference.
At a White House briefing Thursday, Vice President Vance described the incident as “an attack on federal law enforcement” and “an attack on law and order.”
“That individual attempted to interfere with a lawful federal operation,” Vance said. He added that President Trump and the administration “stand with ICE and with the men and women who enforce our nation’s laws.”
Vance also suggested that the woman had been influenced by radical activist networks, warning that organized efforts to disrupt immigration enforcement put both officers and civilians at risk.
According to federal sources cited by Fox News, Good — a 37-year-old mother of three — was reportedly active in a Minneapolis-area group called “ICE Watch,” which closely observed and challenged federal immigration enforcement actions.
Despite those details, Ocasio-Cortez escalated her rhetoric in response to Vance’s remarks, claiming there was a “fundamental difference” between her views and those of the vice president. Supporters of law enforcement say her comments unfairly demonized officers tasked with enforcing federal law under dangerous conditions.
A spokesperson for Vice President Vance forcefully rejected the congresswoman’s accusations, noting that her remarks came on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
“The Vice President stands with ICE and the brave men and women of law enforcement,” the spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “So do the American people.”
The clash highlights the deepening divide between progressive lawmakers aligned with activist movements and a Trump administration that has placed border security, public safety, and unwavering support for law enforcement at the center of its agenda.
