Radical left-wing Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has reached a new low in political fundraising.
The New York congresswoman blasted out a foul-mouthed campaign email calling Vice President JD Vance “full of sh*t” — all while begging her supporters for cash.
The cheap stunt came right after Vice President Vance spoke at a Wisconsin steel plant, where he prayed with workers for the victims of a Minnesota mass shooting. The vice president also joked that AOC and the Democrats now oppose anything President Trump supports, even something as harmless as puppies.
“If Donald Trump said tomorrow that he liked puppies, AOC would say puppies are terrible,” Vance quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd of steelworkers.
But Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign wasn’t laughing. Within hours, her team blasted Vance for “spreading lies,” reposted nasty insults from left-wing activists on X, and demanded $5 donations from supporters to “fight the oligarchy.”
Republicans say this proves Democrats are out of touch with everyday Americans. “It’s no wonder AOC is relying on cheap insults and constant grifting,” said GOP spokeswoman Kiersten Pels. “Democrats are defending crime, protecting illegal immigrants, and abandoning working families.”
This isn’t the first time the pair have clashed. Vance previously warned that the thought of Ocasio-Cortez running for president in 2028 is “the stuff of nightmares” — and millions of Americans agree.
