The feud between Trump and Musk are escalating again.
The political gloves are off. Elon Musk has officially entered the GOP battlefield—this time targeting none other than President Donald J. Trump.
In a stunning declaration posted Monday, Musk announced he would throw his support—and likely his fortune—behind libertarian-leaning Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), a congressman Trump has promised to defeat in next year’s Republican primaries.
Musk’s post on X, where he simply replied “I will” when asked who would back Massie’s re-election, ignited a firestorm. Massie, an outspoken critic of Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, has repeatedly blocked key components of the President’s pro-America legislative agenda.
🔴 President Trump: “Massie is a very bad guy. Anybody I endorse beats him by 25 points!”
Trump’s top campaign brass have already launched the Kentucky MAGA PAC to help unseat Massie in the deep-red district where Democrats haven’t even dared to compete.
Musk Aligns with Anti-Trump Republican
Massie, 54, has made headlines for opposing conservative efforts to restore border security, revitalize manufacturing, and strengthen national defense. He teamed up with far-left Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) to block U.S. support for strikes against Iran and has criticized Trump’s efforts to drain the swamp in Washington.
Even during the pandemic, Massie made waves by resisting the $2 trillion COVID relief bill—one that saved countless small businesses and families from collapse.
Yet Musk now sees Massie as an ally in his personal feud with the 45th President.
Trump Fires Back with Scorching Response
Musk’s criticism of Trump’s policies has reached new extremes. He slammed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act as “utterly insane” and promised to go after Republicans who supported it:
🔵 Musk: “They will lose their primaries next year—if it’s the last thing I do on this Earth.”
President Trump didn’t mince words in response. He called out Musk’s massive reliance on government subsidies, warning that without taxpayer funding, Tesla and SpaceX would be dead in the water.
“Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history,” Trump said. “He might have to shut down and head back to South Africa.”
EV Subsidies: The Real Reason Behind the Feud?
Insiders say Musk turned on Trump after the President vowed to cut Biden-era green energy mandates, including the deeply unpopular rule requiring up to 60% of new vehicles to be electric by 2032.
Trump’s allies argue Musk’s true motive isn’t ideological—it’s financial. Without federal handouts and electric vehicle quotas, Musk’s empire could shrink dramatically.
“He’s mad because his EV mandate is collapsing,” Trump said Tuesday. “But he could lose a lot more than that.”
Tech Billionaire Meltdown or Political Sabotage?
Musk’s war against Trump has grown increasingly personal. He even suggested—then deleted—that Trump’s name might appear in files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Musk later admitted he regretted the post.
The feud comes just weeks after Trump gave Musk a warm White House send-off following his brief stint as a special government advisor.
What’s Next in the Trump vs. Musk Showdown?
As this political battle escalates, one thing is certain: The America First movement is under attack from all sides—including woke billionaires who once claimed to support it.
This isn’t just a fight over policy—it’s a war over the future of the Republican Party.
