How Trump Is The Only Solution

Former VA Secretary Robert Wilkie says President Donald Trump is the only world leader with the strength, credibility, and influence to bring an end to the devastating war in Ukraine—and to stop Iran’s growing aggression in the Middle East.

Speaking with Newsmax on Saturday Agenda, Wilkie delivered a bold message: “President Trump holds the economic firepower and unmatched military authority to bring Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the negotiating table. No one else can get it done.”

Russia, Ukraine, and the Rising Cost of a Failed Strategy

Wilkie warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is losing control of the narrative at home.

“For over two years, Putin has misled his people—claiming Ukraine is just a rebellious province and Zelenskyy is nothing more than an agitator,” Wilkie said. “But now, the truth is harder to hide. The Russian public is starting to question everything.”

Wilkie emphasized that only Trump has the leadership experience and diplomatic power to bring both sides to a peaceful resolution—something the Biden administration has failed to achieve.

Middle East Diplomacy: Trump’s Shift From War to Prosperity

Turning to the Middle East, Wilkie praised Trump’s recent diplomatic efforts as a bold and much-needed break from decades of failed policy.

“For 80 years, U.S. strategy in the region has relied almost entirely on military force—sending troops or weapons,” Wilkie said. “Trump’s approach is different. He’s pushing for economic development and stability. He’s giving these nations something real to invest in: their future.”

This strategy, Wilkie said, is not just smart—it’s vital.

Iran’s Radical Regime: A Threat to Peace and Prosperity

Wilkie also warned that Iran remains the most dangerous threat to peace in the region—and that President Trump is the only one willing to confront it head-on.

“The leaders Trump met with are united in one thing—they want Iran’s regime broken,” he said. “They know the radical Shia government in Tehran is a mortal threat to both Israel and our Arab allies.”

President Trump has extended a path forward to Iran—but Wilkie doubts the regime will respond in good faith.

“They’ll try to wait him out,” Wilkie said. “But Trump isn’t interested in endless talks. He knows what’s at stake. And if Iran thinks he’s going to be patient, they’ve misread him—just like they did before.”

Trump: The Only President With the Power to Restore American Strength Abroad

As conflict, inflation, and weakness define the current administration, President Trump continues to show what real leadership looks like.

“He ended wars, kept our enemies in check, and delivered peace through strength,” Wilkie said. “America—and the world—needs that leadership now more than ever.”
