Obama Judges are back to doing their crooked work.

A federal judge in Boston, appointed by former President Barack Obama, is moving to shield Harvard University from a Trump administration crackdown over alleged foreign interference, campus antisemitism, and national security violations.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs said she intends to issue a preliminary injunction stopping the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from revoking Harvard’s ability to host foreign students through the Student and Exchange Visitor Program—a move that would impact thousands of international visa holders.

🔍 This decision delays efforts by the Trump administration to cut off taxpayer-supported privileges for a school now accused of deep ties to hostile foreign governments.

DHS: Harvard Endangered National Security and Ignored Antisemitic Attacks

Just one day before the hearing, DHS filed a damning letter from Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, citing major compliance failures by Harvard. The findings are alarming:

  • Failure to report required information
  • Failure to protect Jewish students from threats, insults, and violence
  • Recognition and funding of pro-Hamas student groups
  • Evidence of collaboration with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

Lyons wrote that Harvard’s leadership stood by silently while Jewish students were harassed and assaulted, even after the horrific October 7 Hamas terror attacks in Israel. Meanwhile, extremist student organizations promoting antisemitic rhetoric remained fully recognized.

Foreign Influence Exposed: Harvard’s Shocking Ties to China and Iran

The federal letter outlined even more disturbing evidence:

  • Harvard accepted $151 million from foreign governments since 2020—over 13% of all foreign donations.
  • The university allegedly trained members of the CCP’s Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, a paramilitary group involved in the Uyghur genocide, despite the group being sanctioned by the U.S. government.
  • Harvard researchers partnered with Chinese and Iranian-affiliated entities—some linked to military and defense tech—including robotics, aerospace, and optics programs funded with U.S. taxpayer dollars.

📉 These collaborations raise serious questions about whether Harvard has put foreign interests ahead of American national security.

Trump Administration: Harvard Has 30 Days to Respond

The Trump administration has given Harvard 30 calendar days to respond to the findings and explain why its certification should not be revoked. The DHS letter clearly warns:

“Providing materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent information may subject you to criminal prosecution.”

Despite these warnings, Harvard’s legal team claims that over 7,000 foreign students, including nearly 18% from China, could be affected. They allege that students are “terrified” and “facing real harm.”

What’s Really at Stake

This case reveals the growing divide between the Trump administration’s efforts to safeguard America—and the progressive legal system’s tendency to protect elite institutions, even when they’re accused of harboring dangerous ties.

Bottom Line for Concerned Americans:
If elite universities like Harvard are accepting massive foreign funding, ignoring antisemitic violence, and allegedly cooperating with adversarial regimes—who is truly looking out for American values and safety?
