This is fantastic.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ivanka Trump is returning to the White House — and she’s bringing the fight with her. As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday in 2026, the first daughter is teaming up with UFC President Dana White to host a once-in-a-lifetime UFC fight on the White House South Lawn.
A source close to Ivanka told Fox News Digital that she is a “lifelong fan of UFC” and sees the event as a way to honor “a sport beloved by millions of patriotic Americans.” While she will not take on an official government role, Ivanka is playing a central part in organizing what could become one of the most talked-about sporting events in American history.
Trump’s Vision for America’s 250th Birthday
President Donald Trump first revealed his vision in July, promising that America250 celebrations would light up the country with patriotic events at national parks, historic battlefields, and major landmarks — all culminating in a blockbuster UFC fight at the White House itself.
“Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White?” Trump asked a cheering crowd at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “We’re going to have a UFC fight — right here on the White House grounds. We have the space, and we have the spirit.”
Dana White Confirms: ‘Absolutely Going to Happen’
UFC CEO Dana White confirmed in August that the White House fight is locked in for July 4, 2026, and will be broadcast live on CBS.
“This is a one-of-one event,” White said. “The baddest fight card of all time. Everybody wants in.”
Among the fighters rumored for the card is UFC legend Jon Jones, who has returned to the drug-testing pool in preparation for the historic bout.
Ivanka Trump’s Special Role
White revealed that President Trump personally requested Ivanka’s involvement.
White told CBS that when President Trump phoned him about the idea, he specifically said he wanted Ivanka to be “right at the center of it.” White said she soon contacted him, and together they started planning the details — from the location to the staging and overall setup.
Ivanka, a dedicated student of jiu-jitsu, served as a senior advisor in her father’s first administration but has largely avoided the political spotlight since leaving Washington. Her return to the White House for the America250 UFC Fight signals a renewed connection to the public stage.
A Patriotic Showdown Like No Other
With President Trump, Dana White, Ivanka Trump, and some of the biggest names in UFC joining forces, the 250th anniversary of America’s independence is shaping up to be more than a celebration — it’s a statement.
From fireworks over the National Mall to a world-class UFC fight on the South Lawn, this is set to be a once-in-a-lifetime event that blends patriotism, sportsmanship, and history.
As Ivanka Trump steps back into the spotlight, one thing is clear: the White House is about to host a fight night for the ages — and the whole world will be watching.
