FBI Still Withholding Key Evidence
Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) is turning up the heat on the FBI, issuing a subpoena for classified records related to the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Johnson, who chairs the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, is demanding access to surveillance footage, ballistic reports, bullet trajectory analysis, and drone footage—all believed to shed light on how would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks managed to carry out the attack.
“The American people deserve answers,” Johnson declared. “It’s been over a year, and still we’re in the dark.”
The subpoena also seeks Crooks’ social media activity, email records, internet searches, and phone logs, which could reveal possible motives or connections the public hasn’t been told about.
Why Is the FBI Hiding This?
Senator Johnson didn’t hold back in criticizing the FBI for dragging its feet.
“I expected transparency. Instead, we’ve received delay after delay,” Johnson said. “This subpoena is a necessary step toward accountability.”
The move has struck a nerve with millions of Americans who continue to distrust the federal bureaucracy. Many believe this is yet another example of the deep state protecting its own, even in the face of a national tragedy.
Americans Want Justice—Not Stonewalling
As President Trump leads a powerful comeback in 2024, the unanswered questions surrounding this attempted political assassination have only intensified. Conservatives across the country are asking: What is the FBI hiding—and why?
Senator Johnson has made it clear: FBI Director Kash Patel must comply, or face even more scrutiny from Congress.
Stay tuned as this high-stakes investigation unfolds—and as GOP leaders fight to expose the truth that Americans demand and deserve.
