Democrats are openly plotting their next power grab — and it could change America forever.
DNC Chair Ken Martin declared this week that if Democrats regain power, they will push to abolish the filibuster and ram through statehood for Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico — moves designed to guarantee four new Democrat Senate seats and a permanent liberal majority.
Democrats Plan Radical Statehood Scheme
Speaking with former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison on his podcast At Our Table, Martin accused President Donald Trump of running a “fascist regime” and vowed Democrats would “rewrite the rules” once back in charge.
“When we get into power next time, we damn well better make sure that D.C. is a state, that Puerto Rico is a state, that we eliminate the filibuster rule,” Martin ranted. “We can’t be the only party with one hand tied behind our back.”
Critics warn this would be nothing short of a constitutional crisis, tilting elections for decades and silencing conservative voices in Congress.
The 2026 Election: Everything on the Line
Martin claimed the 2026 midterms will be the “most important of his lifetime,” saying if Democrats don’t win, “everything we value will be lost.”
“If Democrats fail in 2026 and allow this so-called ‘fascist regime’ to run unchecked, then in his view, everything Americans hold dear would be wiped away,” he warned.
This radical rhetoric proves Democrats see elections not as fair contests but as opportunities to rewrite America’s rules in their favor.
Democrats’ War on Trump and Conservatives
This is just the latest smear campaign. Back in August, Martin called President Trump a “dictator-in-chief” and accused him of running “fascism dressed in a red tie.”
He even told party leaders to “take back our country from the wannabe king in the White House.”
What Conservatives Need to Know
The Democrat agenda is clear:
- Abolish the filibuster to silence Senate debate.
- Add two new liberal states to cement Democrat power.
- Smear Trump and his supporters as “fascists” to justify it all.
For millions of conservatives, this proves the stakes in 2026 couldn’t be higher. The fight is no longer just about policy — it’s about preserving America’s traditions, freedoms, and the balance of power our Founders intended.
