Chick-fil-A is making headlines — and many Americans are cheering.
This back-to-school season, the Chick-fil-A in Kettering, Ohio, reminded families of its “teen chaperone policy.” The rule is simple: anyone 17 or under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or an adult over 21 if they want to dine inside. If not, they’ll be asked to leave.
The restaurant says the move is about creating a safe, respectful environment for paying customers — a refreshing stance in today’s climate of chaos.
Backlash From the Left
Some locals wasted no time complaining online.
- “Pretty sad the good kids are being punished,” one woman fumed.
- Another threatened to boycott the restaurant, writing: “I guess I won’t be eating at Chick-fil-A anymore.”
Liberals framed the policy as “unfair,” echoing the same weak-on-discipline arguments we hear from the Left about schools, crime, and even immigration.
Support From Families Who’ve Had Enough
But plenty of Americans applauded the rule.
- “Your kids are unruly and disrespectful. Good for Chick-fil-A,” one woman posted.
- “This isn’t the only business doing this,” another reminded critics, pointing out that malls across Ohio already enforce similar chaperone requirements.
Once again, it’s a story of two Americas: those who demand order and respect… and those who resent it.
Chick-fil-A Stands Its Ground
A Chick-fil-A spokesperson told FOX Business the policy is decided locally and matches the shopping center’s existing rules. The company stressed that restaurants are independently owned and that this store was following community standards.
It’s not the first time Chick-fil-A has taken a stand. In 2022, a Philadelphia-area Chick-fil-A enforced a near-identical policy after rowdy teens damaged property, harassed staff, and endangered families.
Why It Matters
Much like President Trump’s call to restore law and order, Chick-fil-A’s decision represents a growing pushback against entitlement, disrespect, and the breakdown of family values.
At a time when most corporations bow to political correctness, Chick-fil-A is doing the opposite: standing tall for order, discipline, and tradition.
For conservatives, it’s another sign that Trump’s MAGA message is alive and well — not just in politics, but in everyday American life.
How come all these perfect kids are running around robbing people and stabbing people where are these kids parents doing nothing letting their 13 year old kids run around with guns these parents need to start being held accountable for their kids actions. Parents don’t raise there children anymore it’s a free for all and they get away with what ever they want. And the parents always say it’s not my kids doing anything wrong.
