A prominent Biden-era insider is throwing cold water on one of the left’s most aggressive talking points—and it’s not what many anti-Trump Democrats want to hear.

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki is now openly questioning the push to remove President Donald Trump using the 25th Amendment, calling the idea unrealistic and a distraction.

Psaki Admits the 25th Amendment Push Is Going Nowhere

During an interview with Stephen A. Smith on his show Straight Shooter, Psaki made it clear that Democrats may be wasting time chasing something that simply isn’t going to happen.

While some on the left continue pushing for drastic action against Trump, Psaki acknowledged a hard truth:

The 25th Amendment effort isn’t realistic—and focusing on it may be hurting Democrats more than helping.

Smith, known for speaking bluntly, raised concerns about the increasingly hostile tone coming from the political left. He questioned whether the constant attacks on Trump are becoming more emotional than effective.

Psaki didn’t push back.

Instead, she admitted that some of the rhetoric coming from Democrats is “not constructive,” especially when it revolves around ideas with no real path forward.

Democrats Double Down Despite Reality Check

Despite Psaki’s warning, more than 50 Democratic lawmakers have supported efforts to remove Trump from office using the 25th Amendment.

The push intensified after Trump issued strong warnings toward Iran, including statements about severe global consequences if tensions escalate.

Sen. Andy Kim was among those calling for drastic action, suggesting Trump should be removed from office and even raising impeachment as an option.

At the same time, voices across the political spectrum—including Marjorie Taylor Greene—have weighed in on the broader political battle surrounding Trump, highlighting just how divided Washington has become.

Psaki Warns Democrats: This Strategy Could Backfire

Psaki’s biggest message wasn’t just about the 25th Amendment—it was about the future of the Democratic Party.

She warned that constant outrage and political “litmus tests” could alienate voters the party needs to win.

In her words, if Democrats want electoral success, they must:

  • Expand their base
  • Accept differing viewpoints
  • Stop demanding total ideological agreement

That’s a significant shift in tone coming from a former top Biden official.

Constant Attacks on Trump May Be Hurting Democrats

Psaki also took aim at what many conservatives have long criticized: the nonstop outrage directed at Trump.

While she admitted she disagrees with many of Trump’s actions, she acknowledged that reacting loudly to everything may not be effective.

That kind of messaging fatigue, she suggested, could turn off voters—especially independents and moderates.

What This Means Going Forward

Psaki’s comments signal something bigger than just disagreement over strategy—they point to growing cracks inside the Democratic Party.

For years, opposition to Trump has been a unifying force on the left. But now, even insiders are beginning to question whether that approach is sustainable—or successful.

As the political battle intensifies, one thing is becoming clear:

Even some Democrats are starting to admit that their current strategy against Trump may not be working.
