The Trump Administration is refusing to say silent.
Vice President JD Vance is standing firm against the latest liberal assault on faith in America. On Thursday, Vance condemned MSNBC host and former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki after she mocked prayer in the wake of the horrific Annunciation Catholic School shooting in Minneapolis.
Vance Defends Prayer After Tragedy
“A gunman opened fire during morning Mass, leaving two children dead and injuring 17 more. Devastated families and parishioners turned to prayer for comfort, yet Psaki chose that moment to target Christians instead of showing compassion.”
Vance quickly responded:
“We turn to prayer because our hearts are shattered. We pray knowing that God hears us, that His ways are beyond our understanding, and that He can move us to act. So why attack people for praying—especially when children were just murdered while doing exactly that?”
In another post, the Vice President blasted the Left’s bizarre obsession with mocking faith:
“Out of all the strange culture battles the Left has pushed in recent years, this one takes the cake. To sneer at people for praying for victims in the middle of such heartbreak—what on earth are you talking about?”
Psaki’s Words Spark Outrage
Psaki dismissed prayer entirely, writing:
“Prayer alone isn’t enough. It doesn’t stop school shootings, it doesn’t ease the fear parents feel when sending their children to class, and it doesn’t bring back the lives already lost. We need more than just thoughts and prayers.”
She later escalated, using the tragedy to swipe at President Trump’s crime policies in Washington, D.C.:
“If children are being gunned down in their pews during a Catholic school Mass, and your big crime strategy is sending the National Guard to spread mulch in D.C., it might be time to reconsider your approach.”
MAGA Responds to Attacks on Faith
Vance and countless conservatives say Psaki’s comments reveal the true priorities of Biden’s allies — attacking prayer, mocking Christians, and politicizing tragedy instead of offering real solutions.
For millions of Americans, prayer is not “empty words.” It is hope, healing, and faith in God during life’s darkest moments. And as Vance made clear, no amount of left-wing media spin will silence Christians.
