Trump is growing closer to popular social media figures and the world sees it.
AL UDEID AIR BASE, QATAR – President Donald J. Trump made a surprise stop to visit U.S. service members stationed in the Middle East, delivering a powerful, patriotic message—and giving a heartfelt shout-out to none other than conservative podcaster Theo Von.
Trump praised the troops for their service and energy, but also highlighted a personal story that had the audience smiling.
“My son Barron came to me and said, ‘Dad, you’ve got to do an interview with Theo Von,’” Trump told the crowd. “I said, ‘Who the heck is Theo Von?’ But Barron knew. He’s a smart kid.”
The 45th & 47th President, who is leading the charge for Trump’s America First agenda and a strong national defense, recalled that Von’s interview ended up reaching nearly 270 million people across platforms, including YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
“We had a good time. It was funny, it was real, and apparently, a whole lot of people watched,” Trump said. “So I guess Barron was right.”
Von, known for his podcast This Past Weekend, has gained popularity with younger audiences for his unfiltered takes and willingness to platform voices censored by Big Tech and the mainstream media.
The comedian was reportedly seen days earlier in Miami with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, raising speculation about growing ties to the Trump family.
While his appearance at the air base wasn’t formally announced, insiders say Von came to support the troops and meet America’s commander-in-chief in person.
President Trump also gave a humorous nod to actor Tom Cruise while recounting a previous trip to Iraq:
“The Air Force pilots waiting for us were better-looking than Tom Cruise—and he’s a friend of mine,” Trump said. “These guys were straight out of Central Casting. And they could fly.”
This visit reinforces Trump’s unwavering support for our military men and women. Unlike the globalist elites, Trump continues to show up for the brave heroes who protect our borders and freedoms abroad.
As Trump eyes a triumphant return to the White House, Americans can expect more of this: bold leadership, personal engagement, and a deep respect for the military that’s often ignored by the Left.
