Trump Influence Continues To Grow
U.S. Senate candidate and military veteran Morgan Murphy says Donald Trump has restored effective leadership in Washington by focusing on results, discipline, and proven policies—an approach he credits with strengthening the economy, rebuilding the military, and reasserting America’s moral leadership around the world.
Murphy shared his views during an appearance on Chris Salcedo Show on Newsmax, where he praised President Trump’s leadership style as practical, decisive, and rooted in real-world outcomes rather than political ideology.
According to Murphy, President Trump’s defining trait is persistence—staying focused on what works, even in the face of criticism or resistance from Washington insiders.
“He’s shown a level of tenacity that’s rare in modern politics,” Murphy said, adding that Trump consistently relies on evidence and results instead of theory. “He does what works.”
Economic Growth and Lower Inflation
Murphy pointed first to the economy, saying Trump’s policies have helped drive strong economic growth while easing inflationary pressure on American families. He noted that growth rates at or above four percent reflect renewed confidence among businesses, workers, and retirees.
Murphy said Americans are once again seeing economic stability in their daily lives, with improving job conditions and a stronger overall outlook compared to recent years.
Military Recruiting and National Security
The Senate candidate also highlighted what he described as a major turnaround in military recruiting, calling it a critical national security issue that often receives too little attention.
Murphy contrasted current recruitment trends with sharp declines he says occurred under the previous administration led by Joe Biden.
“Our military recruiting is coming back,” Murphy said. “That matters because the men and women who serve are the backbone of this country.”
He warned that prolonged recruiting shortfalls weaken readiness and morale, arguing that Trump’s leadership has helped restore pride, purpose, and stability within the armed forces at a time of growing global uncertainty.
Faith, Values, and Moral Leadership
Beyond economics and defense, Murphy emphasized President Trump’s willingness to openly defend faith and traditional values. He said the president has taken a clear stand for Christian principles both at home and internationally, something many voters believe had been missing from U.S. leadership.
Murphy argued that moral clarity is an essential part of strong leadership, especially during periods of global conflict and cultural division.
Strength of Character Matters
Murphy concluded by saying leadership is about more than policy—it is also about character, resolve, and confidence in the Oval Office.
He described President Trump as a leader who projects strength and conviction, qualities Murphy believes resonate with Americans seeking stability, accountability, and results.
“In my view,” Murphy said, “that kind of leadership earns top marks.”
