A major political shake-up is brewing in Kentucky, and it’s catching national attention.
A prominent businessman seeking to succeed retiring Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell is calling out one of the left’s latest cultural trends — and millions of Americans agree with him.
A Kentucky Conservative Takes on the Left’s New Obsession
Nate Morris, a multimillionaire investor and well-known Kentucky entrepreneur, is running on a bold, unapologetically pro-America message. In a recent video posted to X, Morris challenged the left’s growing fixation on so-called “land acknowledgments,” calling the ritual misleading, divisive, and flat-out anti-American.
Morris said the left is trying to push a false narrative that America was “stolen,” ignoring the real history of how our nation was built.
“America was negotiated for and America was fought for,” Morris said. “This country wasn’t stolen. It was built, purchased, settled, defended, and expanded.”
Setting the Record Straight on America’s History
Morris reminded viewers that much of America’s land came through legal agreements — something the left conveniently forgets.
“We bought Alaska from Russia. We paid France for the Louisiana Purchase. We signed treaties covering millions of acres,” he explained. “This is how nations operate. Meanwhile, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East spent thousands of years shifting borders through constant wars. But the left holds America to a standard no nation in history could ever meet.”
For many conservative voters, Morris’ comments hit a nerve. His message directly confronts the left-wing attempts to undermine national pride and portray American history as something shameful.
Calling Out the Left’s Misrepresentation of Native History
Morris also pointed out that activists reciting modern land acknowledgments often have no real understanding of the Native American tribes they reference.
“The Apache and Sioux weren’t peaceful, noble characters from a Hollywood movie,” Morris said. “They were fierce warrior nations. The Comanche went from cave dwellers in Wyoming to dominating half the West after learning horseback warfare.”
Morris noted that the same activists lecturing Americans about history never seem interested in giving up their own homes or property.
“It’s interesting,” Morris added. “All these people ‘acknowledging the land’ sure seem comfortable staying right on it.”
Why the Left Pushes the ‘Stolen Land’ Narrative
According to Morris, calling America “stolen” is simply a political strategy — one designed to weaken the country from within.
“Anyone claiming America was stolen is trying to rewrite history and make our country weaker,” he said. “This land was won, defended, settled, and built by people who believed in law, order, industry, faith, and manifest destiny.”
Millions of older conservative voters agree: the left’s constant guilt-driven messaging is pushing people away from patriotism and toward resentment.
Even Democrats Are Calling This Out
Interestingly, Morris isn’t the only one warning the left about this trend. Even top Democrats have sounded the alarm.
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville slammed the DNC earlier this year after they opened a major meeting with a land acknowledgment. He said these symbolic gestures are driving voters toward Republicans.
“Please stop this,” Carville pleaded. “You’ve got one job — win elections.”
Liberal host Bill Maher offered an even harsher critique.
“Democrats, if you want to win again, stop doing this,” Maher said. “Either give the land back or knock it off.”
Maher pointed out the hypocrisy: many of the same people lecturing the country are living on expensive property while claiming moral superiority.
A MAGA Momentum Shift in Kentucky?
With Morris taking a strong stand for American history, national pride, and conservative values, many Republicans in Kentucky wonder whether he might be the bold, MAGA-aligned leader ready to step into McConnell’s seat.
His message is resonating with voters who believe America’s history should be honored — not rewritten by academic activists or progressive ideologues.
The race is still developing, but one thing is clear: Nate Morris is positioning himself as a fighter, a patriot, and a powerful conservative voice for Kentucky’s future.
