Eric Trump Announces 2028 Run?
Eric Trump isn’t ruling out another Trump White House campaign — and this time, it might not just be his father leading the charge.
In a new episode of Pod Force One with journalist Miranda Devine, the president’s son teased that those “Trump 2028” hats seen at rallies could stand for more than just a third campaign for President Donald J. Trump.
“People always assume it’s about [President] Donald Trump,” Eric said with a grin. “But it could also mean Eric Trump — or Don Jr.”
Though he described himself as “temporarily retired from politics,” Eric hinted he’d return to the arena “if there was no other choice.”
Trump Transformed the GOP — and His Family Plans to Keep It That Way
Eric Trump praised his father for reshaping the Republican Party into a movement of patriots willing to fight for America’s future.
“We didn’t have a choice,” he said. “We either fought for ourselves, or we didn’t win.”
He noted that before President Trump, many in the GOP played defense. But under Trump, Republicans learned to stand tall — against the media, against global elites, and against the radical left.
“My father turned the GOP into a party of fighters and winners,” Eric said proudly.
Eric Trump Fires Back at Democrat Attacks and ‘Cancel Banking’
With Democrats threatening new investigations into the family’s growing business ventures — including reports of an $800 million cryptocurrency success this year — Eric Trump says the attacks are political, not financial.
“We were shut out by the major banks — Chase, Bank of America, just about all of them,” he said. “So we decided to create our own path and secure our financial future independently.”
He called it proof that the Trump family doesn’t back down, even when the establishment tries to silence them.
The Fulton County Mug Shot That Backfired on the Left
Eric also spoke about the now-iconic Fulton County mug shot that Democrats hoped would destroy his father. Instead, he said, it rallied everyday Americans.
“The great irony is that it probably helped us the most with African American and minority communities,” he said.
Across the country, the image of President Trump staring defiantly into the camera became a symbol of resistance, strength, and patriotism.
Unanswered Questions: Eric Trump Demands Truth About 2024 Shooting
Eric Trump says he’s still “furious” about the lack of answers surrounding the 2024 assassination attempt on his father.
“I’m wholly pissed off about it,” he said, questioning how quickly the shooter was cremated. “Give me a break — most family pets take longer to be cremated.”
While President Trump has expressed confidence in the investigation, Eric isn’t satisfied.
“He’s the guy who took a bullet to the ear,” Eric said. “I’m not satisfied. I think it’s a joke that we don’t know the truth.”
‘The Trump Dynasty Is Just Getting Started’
Despite endless media attacks, the Trump family’s political future looks brighter than ever.
President Trump himself has praised his children’s accomplishments, saying each of them could carry on the MAGA legacy.
“All of them probably have a future in politics,” he said in a previous episode, noting how proud he is of their work for the country.
Whether it’s Donald Trump, Eric Trump, or Don Jr., one thing is clear: The Trump movement isn’t going anywhere.
