Liberals Rage At Democrat Party
Radio host Charlamagne Tha God is calling out the Democratic Party’s leadership, saying top figures like Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer have completely lost touch with what voters are feeling.
While guest-hosting The Daily Show, Charlamagne — known for his no-filter honesty — accused Democrats of being “out of energy and out of ideas,” just as Americans are demanding real change.
“People are screaming for change,” Charlamagne said. “Democrats, let’s see you harness that energy.”

He mocked Schumer for using a pointer stick and whiteboard to attack a Republican spending bill, calling the presentation uninspired political theater. Then he turned his sights on Jeffries, quipping that the New York congressman “sounds like Chuck E. Cheese Obama.”
Charlamagne said Democrats refuse to back candidates who might shake up Washington’s elite system — the same system many Americans feel has failed them.
“Democratic leaders never support candidates who challenge the establishment,” he said. “But the current system isn’t working.”
A Fiery Message That Resonates With Voters
The 47-year-old host said Americans want leadership that fights for them — not more empty speeches. “Dems act like they’ll get a cookie for being the most rational people in the room,” he joked. “Voters don’t care about that. They care about results.”
Charlamagne even compared the hunger for change to how President Trump is reshaping the East Wing, saying, “That’s the kind of boldness people want.”
He also warned that Democrats underestimate public frustration over censorship and cancel culture — pointing to Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension after remarks about conservative activist Charlie Kirk as proof that people are ready to push back.

“If Democrats can’t lead,” Charlamagne said, “the people will take action — through protests, boycotts, sit-ins, even a national workers’ strike.”
He closed by directly challenging party leadership: “Right now, America’s got all this energy, and the Democrats don’t know how to use it. Maybe it’s time Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer get primaried — and give someone else a shot.”
