Trump Admin Trashes Robert De Niro
Hollywood’s anti-Trump rage just hit a new low — and the White House isn’t letting it slide.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller tore into actor Robert De Niro during a Wednesday appearance on Fox News’s Hannity, describing the aging star as “a bitter, broken man who hasn’t delivered a memorable film in decades.”
“He’s had one flop after another,” Miller said. “This man has been degrading himself on camera for my entire adult life. Nobody takes him seriously — not his family, not his friends, not his community. He’s a shell of a man, and everyone knows it.”
De Niro’s Meltdown on MSNBC
Host Sean Hannity brought up De Niro’s latest tirade after the actor compared Miller to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels and labeled him a “Nazi” during a panel on MSNBC’s The Weekend.
De Niro didn’t stop there. He also took vulgar swipes at President Donald Trump, cheering on New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) and shouting an explicit endorsement of her legal attacks.
“She’s fighting back, saying, ‘I will not be taken down by this person. I am not afraid of him,’” De Niro said before cursing on live television. “God bless her for that.”
The crowd gasped, but De Niro pressed on, bizarrely claiming Trump “won’t want to leave” after his second term and calling him “an alien” who “wants to hurt this country.”
A Pattern of Rage from Hollywood’s Left
This isn’t De Niro’s first meltdown over Trump. He’s spent years spewing profanity on stage and on air, attacking the former president and his supporters.
Back in 2019, during an interview with then-CNN host Brian Stelter, De Niro lashed out after being told Fox News criticized him:
“F— them,” De Niro snapped. “We’re in a terrible situation, and this guy keeps going on and on without being stopped.”
Many conservatives say De Niro’s bitter rants reveal just how out of touch liberal Hollywood elites have become — angry at everyday Americans while defending the political establishment that left working families behind.
Miller’s Response Resonates with Millions
For viewers of Hannity, Miller’s comments hit home. To many Americans, De Niro symbolizes an aging Hollywood that mocks faith, patriotism, and success — while President Donald Trump fights to rebuild the nation’s strength, borders, and economy.
Miller summed up what millions of conservatives feel: Hollywood may sneer, but Trump’s America isn’t listening anymore.
