Trump Calls Out Obama’s Nobel Prize

President Donald Trump tore into former President Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize on Thursday, saying the 44th president was handed the award “for doing nothing” and “destroying our country.”

Trump’s remarks came during a conversation with reporters in the Oval Office, marking 16 years since Obama was controversially granted the Nobel Peace Prize for what the committee called his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy.”

“He got it for doing absolutely nothing,” Trump said. “Obama got elected, and they gave him the Nobel Prize for doing nothing but wrecking America. It was ridiculous.”

Trump reminded reporters that Obama had been in office for only a few months when he received the prestigious award — a decision that baffled many at the time.

“Obama wasn’t a good president. He wins the election, and right after that, they hand him the peace prize,” Trump said. “My election was far more important. I actually delivered results.”

A Prize for Promises — Not for Performance

Back in 2009, the Norwegian Nobel Committee shocked the world when it gave Obama the award just nine months into his presidency. Even Obama admitted he hadn’t done anything to deserve it yet. Critics called it a “trophy for talk” — honoring globalist speeches instead of real accomplishments.

Conservatives saw it as the ultimate example of style over substance — a pattern that continued throughout Obama’s time in office.

Now the Tables Have Turned

Today, many argue it’s Trump who deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Under his leadership, historic peace agreements were signed — including the landmark deal that brought an end to the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

“Nobody in history has stopped eight wars in nine months,” Trump said proudly. “I didn’t do it for awards or headlines. I did it to save lives and protect peace through strength.”

Even Trump’s critics have quietly acknowledged that his administration accomplished what decades of Washington politicians couldn’t — real results without endless wars.

Peace Through Strength — Not Speeches

Trump’s remarks serve as a sharp contrast between two very different presidencies: Obama’s era of empty promises versus Trump’s record of tangible peace and national revival.

As Trump put it, “They can do whatever they want with the Nobel Committee. I don’t need a prize to know what we achieved. The results speak for themselves.”
