According to Fox News Digital, Smith’s “Arctic Frost” team accessed private phone data from nearly a dozen Republican senators, tracking who they called, where the calls originated, and where they were received — all without the lawmakers’ consent.
Those reportedly targeted included Senators Josh Hawley, Tommy Tuberville, Cynthia Lummis, Dan Sullivan, Bill Hagerty, Marsha Blackburn, Lindsey Graham, Ron Johnson, along with Representative Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania.
A leaked FBI document titled “CAST Assistance”, dated September 27, 2023, detailed how a special agent within Smith’s unit conducted a “preliminary toll analysis” of the lawmakers’ communications. The document was marked “Sensitive Investigative Matter — Election Law Matters.”
Trump Reacts: “He Got Caught”
President Donald Trump wasted no time responding on Truth Social, calling out Jack Smith by name:
“Crooked Jack Smith finally got caught red-handed. What a disgrace to justice!”
