Kamala Harris is being called out after her brand-new memoir was released — and it’s already backfiring.
Instead of rebuilding her image after her crushing 2024 defeat to President Donald Trump, the book is filled with false claims, sloppy errors, and attacks on Joe Biden that are coming back to haunt her.
Harris Turns on Joe Biden
The former vice president spends pages blaming Joe Biden, accusing him of “recklessness” for running again as an aging career politician with more than 50 years in Washington. Harris even complains that the Biden White House abandoned her when the press turned negative.
But Biden allies aren’t happy. They say Harris’ version of events is misleading and self-serving — and fact-checkers have now exposed glaring mistakes.
Afghanistan Withdrawal Disaster
One of the worst errors in Harris’ memoir deals with the botched Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021, a disaster still remembered by millions of Americans. Harris wrongly claimed that only Marines died in the Kabul airport suicide bombing. In reality, 13 U.S. service members were killed — including a Navy corpsman and an Army soldier.
For many, this sloppy mistake is insulting to the families of the fallen. It also reminds Americans that the Biden-Harris administration’s failures left billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment in Taliban hands and weakened America on the world stage.
Conservatives argue this disaster sent a dangerous message of weakness that encouraged Russia to invade Ukraine and emboldened America’s enemies everywhere.
Harris Smears Trump’s Pardons
Harris also went after President Trump for his clemency decisions, especially his pardon of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road website. Harris outrageously labeled him a “fentanyl dealer” — even though Ulbricht was never charged with fentanyl crimes.
Ulbricht fired back directly at Harris on social media, blasting her dishonesty and defending President Trump for freeing him after 11 years behind bars. Trump himself explained the pardon as justice against a corrupt system that had targeted both Ulbricht and himself.
Harris Pushes the “Closest Election” Myth
On her book tour, Harris repeatedly insisted that the 2024 race against Trump was the “closest election of the 21st century.” That’s simply false. Harris lost badly:
- Trump won 312 Electoral Votes to Harris’ 226.
- Trump received over 77 million votes to Harris’ 75 million.
The real closest election this century was Bush vs. Gore in 2000, which came down to just 537 votes in Florida. Harris’ repeated falsehoods are seen as an attempt to rewrite history and excuse her defeat.
Harris’ Book Backfires
What was meant to be a comeback story has instead turned into another humiliation. Harris’ memoir is being mocked as a sloppy, misleading account that exposes why voters rejected her in 2024.
As she continues her international book tour through November, critics say the only thing Kamala Harris has accomplished is reminding Americans why they chose Donald Trump instead.
