Kamala Reveals Private Conversation With Trump
Former Vice President Kamala Harris is making headlines with explosive claims in her upcoming memoir, 107 Days, which dives deep into her failed 2024 presidential campaign and a surprising private phone call with President Donald Trump.
According to Harris, she reached out to Trump last September after a shocking assassination attempt on the President while he was golfing in Florida. The incident came just weeks after another near-fatal attack in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman opened fire with a rifle during a Trump rally — an attack that nearly claimed his life.
In her book, Harris recounts that during their private conversation, Trump unexpectedly vowed to soften his tone, reportedly telling her:
“I’m going to tone it down. I will. You’re going to see.”
Trump Blames Harris and Biden for Dangerous Political Climate
After the Florida assassination attempt, President Trump went on the offensive, accusing Harris and former President Joe Biden of fueling hatred and division with their inflammatory rhetoric.
“Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save this country — and they are the ones destroying it, both from the inside and out,” Trump said publicly after the arrest.
Harris claims she arranged a direct call with Trump, during which the President allegedly praised her campaign, making it difficult for him to attack her.
“You’ve done a great job, you really have,” Trump reportedly said. “My only problem is it makes it very hard to be angry at you. How do I say bad things about you now?”
Harris says she urged Trump not to say “bad things” about her — and he allegedly agreed, promising to tone down his own rhetoric.
However, Harris insists she never trusted Trump’s charm, describing him as “a con man” and comparing his personality to the famous Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde dynamic.
Both Parties Issue Public Condemnations of Political Violence
In the days following the assassination attempt, both Harris and Biden issued public statements condemning political violence — though conservatives remain skeptical of their sincerity.
Harris declared,
“As the details continue to emerge, let me be clear: I denounce political violence, and we all have a responsibility to prevent this event from sparking further unrest.”
Despite these words, many Trump supporters argue that Democrats’ divisive attacks against Trump have only worsened tensions and put lives in danger — especially as the President works to restore order and protect the nation.
The Call Where Harris Conceded the Election
Harris also writes about the moment she officially conceded the 2024 presidential election to Trump. In that phone call, Harris urged Trump to focus on bringing the country together.
Trump’s response was surprisingly polite, according to Harris:
“I am going to be so nice and respectful. You are a tough, smart customer, and I say that with great respect.”
Harris writes that, in her view, his promise was “a lost cause.”
Book Release and International Tour
Harris’s memoir, 107 Days, will officially launch next week. To promote the book, she has announced a 15-city tour, including stops in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
This rollout comes at a time when many conservatives are deeply concerned about political violence, media bias, and growing hostility toward President Trump and his supporters.
Why This Matters for Conservatives
For conservatives, Harris’s claims are a stark reminder of just how dangerous the political climate has become. While Democrats issue public statements condemning violence, their harsh rhetoric and attacks on Trump have, according to many, created the very environment they claim to oppose.
As Trump continues to focus on law, order, and defending America, this book highlights the deep divisions that remain — and why voter engagement will be more critical than ever heading into the next election.
