Republican Reveals Real Reason Kamala Lost
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) says Kamala Harris’ crushing defeat to President Donald Trump wasn’t about luck or messaging — it was because of the radical, failed policies pushed by today’s Democratic Party.
Appearing on Newsmax’s American Agenda, Cornyn ripped into Harris’ claims from her new book, where she suggested other forces were behind her historic loss.
“It wasn’t the message or the messenger,” Cornyn declared. “It was the disastrous policies.”
The Biden-Harris Legacy: Border Chaos & Soaring Inflation
Cornyn pointed to the two most defining crises voters faced during the campaign:
- 40-year-high inflation draining retirement savings and crushing working families.
- Wide-open southern border flooding communities with illegal immigration and crime.
“These are problems America will feel for decades,” Cornyn warned. “The consequences of these policies are only beginning to be understood.”
By Election Day, voters were fed up and ready for strong leadership — and they turned back to President Trump to restore law, order, and prosperity.
Harris Never Connected With Voters
Cornyn reminded viewers that Harris had never resonated with the American people, even back in 2020.
“She didn’t even make it to the first Democratic primary,” Cornyn said.
Democrats, desperate for a new figurehead after Joe Biden’s collapse, attempted to install Harris as their savior — but Trump’s decisive win proved voters weren’t buying it.
Harris Still Has Political Ambitions
Despite the stunning defeat, Cornyn believes Harris isn’t done with national politics.
“Once you get the political bug, it’s hard to shake,” he said. “She’s looking for her next opportunity.”
Since losing to Trump, Harris has stayed active, releasing her memoir 107 Days in 2025, where she attacks Trump and continues pushing her liberal agenda.
She briefly considered running for California governor in 2026, but backed out — a move many see as keeping her options open for a future White House run.
Bottom Line: America Rejected Radical Liberalism
Cornyn summed it up clearly: Kamala Harris lost because Democrats failed America.
With runaway inflation, border chaos, and weak leadership, voters overwhelmingly chose President Trump to bring stability back to the nation.
As Trump rebuilds America’s strength at home and abroad, Democrats are left divided, scrambling to find their next candidate — and their next excuse.
