Trump Admin Shocked By Prisoner’s Release
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is slamming a federal judge for releasing Kilmar Abrego Garcia — a convicted criminal, known MS-13 gang member, and accused human trafficker — back onto American streets.
On Friday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes ordered Abrego Garcia’s release from a Tennessee jail, despite his history of violent crimes and his March deportation to El Salvador. He is now back in Maryland as he awaits trial.
Noem: “Activist Judges Putting Criminal Aliens Over American Families”
“This is exactly what happens when activist liberal judges block our law enforcement officers from doing their jobs,” Noem said. “This judge just put an MS-13 gang member, a human trafficker, serial abuser, and predator back into our communities. It’s a disgrace, and it’s a new low in America’s immigration crisis.”
Noem added: “By letting this monster loose, the court has ignored the safety of the American people. We will not stop until he is permanently removed from this country and justice is served.”
Trump Administration Crackdown Undermined
The Department of Homeland Security under President Trump has repeatedly identified Abrego Garcia as a “public safety threat” tied to MS-13’s violent criminal network. Federal officials point to his involvement in human trafficking stemming from a 2022 traffic stop in Tennessee.
Despite this, his attorneys are pushing to dismiss the case, arguing he was unfairly targeted by the Trump administration. Conservatives warn this defense strategy is part of a broader effort by open-borders activists to weaken immigration enforcement and shield violent criminals.
A Dangerous Pattern Emerging
Legal analysts note that this case is not isolated. Across the country, liberal judges and activist lawyers have pushed to free criminal illegal aliens — even when they pose a clear danger to American families. For many conservatives, it is proof that the fight for border security and law and order is far from over.
As President Trump has emphasized, America cannot afford to let dangerous criminals slip back into neighborhoods because of judicial activism. Cases like this highlight why immigration enforcement and tough border policies remain at the center of his agenda.
