Nobody is above the law!
In a shocking escalation, FBI agents stormed the Maryland home of former National Security Advisor John Bolton on Friday morning, Fox News Digital confirmed.
Bolton, long a bitter Trump critic, watched as agents also swept through his Washington, D.C., office—hauling out boxes of materials in plain view of reporters.
FBI Targets Trump Foe Over Classified Documents
Sources say the raid centers on classified documents Bolton may still be hiding. Bolton was not taken into custody, but the message was clear: the FBI is coming after Trump’s enemies.
President Trump told reporters he had no advance warning.
Trump remarked, “He’s not exactly the brightest, and he may even be disloyal. I just caught it on television this morning—I have no details beyond that.”
Kash Patel Signals FBI Mission
The raid began around 7 a.m. at Bolton’s Bethesda home. Minutes later, FBI Director Kash Patel posted a cryptic message on X: “NO BODY is above the law…”
Deputy Director Dan Bongino shared Patel’s post, adding: “Public corruption will not be tolerated.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi was equally blunt: “America’s safety isn’t negotiable. Justice will be pursued. Always.”
Deep State Battles Reignited
The Bolton raid revives old battles. Back in 2020, the Trump Justice Department fought to stop Bolton’s tell-all memoir, The Room Where It Happened, arguing it exposed classified intelligence and private talks with foreign leaders. A federal judge let the book through anyway, and the Biden DOJ later killed the investigation—something conservatives blasted as pure politics.
A source close to the probe told Fox News Digital:
“Bolton had some nerve attacking Trump over documents when he had his own classified mess.”
Bolton’s Double-Edged History
Bolton, who Trump fired in 2019, has wavered between praising and attacking the 45th President. He cheered Trump’s decisive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling it “the right move,” but then turned around and accused Trump of incompetence.
Trump has never minced words about Bolton:
“I’m not a fan of John Bolton. He always wanted war. Bush listened to him and we got disaster in the Middle East. Foreign leaders gave me everything in negotiations because they thought Bolton would blow them up.”
Iranian Threats & Secret Service Protection
Bolton has also been under threat from Iranian assassins, after the 2020 strike that killed terror mastermind Qassem Soleimani. In 2022, the DOJ charged an Iranian operative for plotting Bolton’s murder.
Despite those threats, Bolton lost his Secret Service detail when Trump returned to the White House in 2025. Bolton whined that it was “retribution”—but many see it as long-overdue accountability.
Bottom Line
The Trump-Bolton feud has now hit a new level with the FBI raid. Many conservatives are asking: is this about national security—or another case of the Deep State targeting Trump’s enemies while Biden allies walk free?
