New developments are being made by the day.

Newly uncovered documents show that Joe Biden’s last-minute mass pardons may not just be reckless—they may have been flat-out illegal. Now, questions are swirling: Will President Trump move to undo them?

Biden’s Midnight Pardons Under Fire

Just before leaving office, Biden unleashed more than 2,500 pardons and commutations in one sweeping move. His White House framed them as “non-violent drug offenders.” But documents obtained by the Oversight Project and shared with Fox News Digital tell a very different story.

Career Justice Department officials privately warned Biden’s team that many of those released were hardened criminals, not small-time drug users. Some even had murder convictions tied to police officer killings. Victims’ families and law enforcement raised strong objections—but the Biden team pushed forward anyway.

DOJ Raised Red Flags

One of the most shocking emails came from Bradley Weinsheimer, a top Justice Department official, on January 18th. He warned Biden’s aides:

  • Stop calling these offenders “non-violent.” That’s “untrue or at least misleading.”
  • At least 19 cases were “highly problematic.”
  • Some of the released convicts were drug traffickers connected to deadly crimes.

Weinsheimer admitted the Department was kept in the dark and left asking what crimes were actually being erased. “You’ve got murderers on your list today,” he wrote.

Pardons Delegated to Staff, Not Biden

Oversight Project Vice President Kyle Brosnan revealed the most troubling detail: Biden didn’t even personally review the names. Instead, he approved vague “categories” of criminals and let staffers fill in the blanks—a move experts call an illegal delegation of presidential power.

Some warrants were even found to be auto-penned, raising more doubts about their legitimacy.

Experts Say Pardons Could Be Invalid

Attorney Sam Dewey said this situation is worse than sloppy. He compared it to a shady “drug deal” and warned that invalid pardons can legally be reversed.

“If the pardon is invalid, it falls, and then you proceed as if there was no pardon,” Dewey explained. That means hundreds—or even thousands—of released convicts could legally be sent back to prison.

Biden’s Defense Rings Hollow

Biden claimed his actions were about “correcting sentencing disparities.” He insisted he wanted to fix “historic wrongs” over crack vs. powder cocaine laws.

But critics argue this was a political stunt, not true justice. Even Biden admitted to the New York Times that he didn’t personally read the names. Instead, aides sorted convicts by broad categories, and Biden just rubber-stamped the process.

Trump’s Next Move?

Now, with Trump back in the White House, pressure is mounting for him to take action. If these pardons are ruled invalid, Trump could reverse them—restoring justice for victims and law enforcement who were betrayed by Biden’s reckless gamble.

For millions of Americans concerned about law and order, Trump’s response could prove decisive:

  • Will the Biden pardons be overturned?
  • Will violent offenders be forced back behind bars?
  • And will the rule of law finally be restored after years of political games?

One thing is clear: Biden’s midnight pardon spree may go down as one of the most reckless abuses of presidential power in modern history—and Trump now has the chance to set it right.
