President Donald J. Trump has officially endorsed Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones in the high-stakes 2026 race for governor — a move that could reshape the political landscape in the Peach State.
On Monday night via Truth Social, Trump praised Jones as a “widely admired and well-liked” leader, noting that Georgia was where he achieved a “major presidential victory” only eight months earlier.
