Bye bye Jimmy!

Hollywood liberal Jimmy Kimmel has just confirmed he’s now an Italian citizen — and he dropped the news while mocking President Donald Trump during a podcast appearance. The revelation comes as more outspoken celebrities announce they are leaving the United States during Trump’s historic second term.

Kimmel made the admission on fellow left-wing comedian Sarah Silverman’s show Friday. Silverman, lamenting the political climate under Trump, said:

“A lot of people I know are thinking about where they’re going to get citizenship.”

Kimmel proudly responded:

“I did get Italian citizenship.”

Silverman cheered the move, calling it “amazing,” as Kimmel claimed:

“As bad as you thought it was going to be — it’s so much worse. I feel like it’s even worse than [Trump] would like it to be.”

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Kimmel, a vocal Trump critic who campaigned for Democrats in 2024, first revealed his new citizenship during a June celebration at the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles, marking the 79th Italian Republic Day. He credited his late grandmother Edith, whose family came from the town of Candida in Italy’s Avellino province.

This celebrity citizenship bombshell comes just months after Rosie O’Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres announced they had permanently relocated outside the U.S. following Trump’s re-election — sparking what some call a “liberal celebrity exodus.”

Last week, President Trump quipped that Kimmel could be the “next” to get canceled, following news that fellow anti-Trump late-night host Stephen Colbert will wrap up his show in May 2026.

For many Americans, Kimmel’s move is yet another example of Hollywood elites turning their backs on the country — while hardworking citizens remain committed to rebuilding a stronger, freer America under Trump’s leadership.
