Even the media has flipped on Kamala.

Kamala Harris is under fire again—this time from CNN’s own panel of pundits—after a painfully awkward interview Thursday night on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

While Harris dodged key questions about her failed 2024 run and why she’s not seeking California’s governorship, what really struck a nerve was her vague, aimless language—the kind voters are tired of hearing.

“The System Is Broken”—But What Does That Even Mean?

When asked why she wasn’t pursuing a leadership role in California, Harris responded, “I don’t want to go back in the system. I think it’s broken.”

But on Friday, CNN’s panel tore into her for saying nothing of substance. Jasmine Wright, who once covered Harris on the campaign trail, criticized her for being out of touch.

“Americans want real solutions, not empty buzzwords. She’s had six months and still can’t explain what she stands for,” Wright said bluntly.

Six Months of Silence: “She Hasn’t Said Anything”

Panel host Manu Raju chimed in, voicing what many Americans feel: “She hasn’t said anything meaningful in six months.”

This echoes the growing sentiment among voters—especially seniors—who feel abandoned by the Democratic Party’s lack of direction and clarity.

Even Liberal Media Can’t Defend Her Performance

CNN’s Aaron Blake noted that other Democrats—like Barack Obama and Joe Biden—routinely talk about “threats to democracy,” but admitted there’s a total lack of consistent messaging.

“They pop up, say things are bad, then disappear. There’s no leadership, no plan,” Blake said.

That’s something older voters care deeply about: trustworthy, steady leadership. Harris offered none.

“Robotic,” “Uncomfortable,” and Still Dodging Accountability

Michelle Price from the Associated Press went even further, describing Harris as looking physically stiff and emotionally checked out:

“She looked robotic, tense—like her shoulders were up in her neck the whole time. She has nothing to lose right now and still couldn’t speak candidly.”

Instead of giving Americans a clear plan or admitting what went wrong in 2024, Harris offered vague lamentations and tired talking points.

Democrat Meltdown: No Leadership, No Message

Wright concluded that Harris, more than anyone, should be owning the Democratic Party’s crushing failures in 2024:

“The American people—especially after 2024—deserve honesty. What went wrong? Why did voters reject the platform? What is the plan now?”

Instead, all Harris offered was a “listening tour” set to begin in December. But many believe the time for listening is long over. The time for answers is now.

Final Thoughts: Kamala’s Image Problem Is the Democrat Party’s Problem

For millions of Americans—particularly seniors who value strong leadership—this interview was just another reminder that the Democratic Party is adrift. Kamala Harris, once marketed as the future of the party, now appears to be its most glaring liability.

If even CNN is admitting Harris lacks clarity, charisma, and direction, it raises deeper questions about the Democratic bench going forward.
