While corporate media outlets look the other way, President Donald J. Trump has just scored one of the biggest border enforcement victories in U.S. history—and the numbers speak for themselves.
On Friday, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks revealed that only 4,399 illegal border crossers were apprehended in July, setting a new all-time record low. It breaks June’s record of 6,070 and marks the third straight month with zero migrant releases.
Let that sink in: under Trump, border apprehensions dropped to just 141 per day—compared to over 10,000 a day under Joe Biden’s disastrous open-border policies in December 2023.
That month alone saw 249,785 crossings, most of whom were released into communities with little to no vetting. Border towns were pushed to the brink, and law enforcement was stretched dangerously thin.
Meanwhile, Democrat-run cities like New York were flooded with illegal migrants after some Republican governors had enough and began busing migrants north. What followed was chaos, finger-pointing, and skyrocketing costs.
Now, thanks to President Trump, order has returned.
“The border is finally under control again—just as it should be. Firm policies bring peace and stability,” stated Rep. Morgan Luttrell, R-Texas.
🔒 Trump Took Decisive Action — Biden Never Did
At the beginning of Trump’s second term, the Biden-era CBP One app—which encouraged illegal entries by offering asylum appointments—was immediately dismantled.
In its place: CBP Home, a tough new system that encourages voluntary deportation, offering $1,000 and free travel for those who leave without incident.
And unlike Biden, Trump isn’t just talking—he’s acting. Deportation operations are now active nationwide, especially in so-called sanctuary cities, despite pushback from liberal officials.
💵 One Big Beautiful Bill: Border Security Is Back
The Trump-backed One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed with billions in funding for:
- Border wall completion
- ICE expansion
- Reimbursement to states overwhelmed during the Biden years
- Thousands of new immigration enforcement hires
ICE has already begun massive recruitment efforts to fill these new roles—signaling a dramatic reversal from Biden’s handcuffing of law enforcement.
America is seeing results. Illegal crossings are down. Sanctuary cities are on notice. And thanks to President Trump, the border is finally being secured—just like he promised.
