Fox News Issues Warning To Trump
Could Left-Wing Media Censorship Become a Double-Edged Sword?
Over the weekend, Fox News correspondent Alicia Acuna raised eyebrows with a pointed warning: While many Americans are fed up with the liberal media — especially shows like ABC’s The View — any tools used to silence them today could come back to haunt conservatives under a future Democrat administration.
Acuna made the comments during The Big Weekend Show, saying:
“Sure, it would be nice to see The View disappear. A lot of people would welcome that. But this isn’t the only administration that will ever sit in power.”
A Tool for Trump Today, a Weapon for the Left Tomorrow?
Acuna cautioned that if regulatory power is used now to challenge networks like ABC News, the same authority could be turned against conservative outlets like Fox News, Newsmax, or talk radio — especially if Democrats regain control of the White House.
“If the government can shut down The View over bias, then what’s to stop a future left-wing administration from going after Fox?” she warned.
Her remarks were spotlighted by Mediaite and come amid growing calls from conservative voters to hold the mainstream media accountable for years of misinformation, smears, and anti-Trump coverage.
Trump Calls Out ABC News and The View
President Trump has frequently blasted ABC News for spreading what he calls “blatant lies” about his administration. He has even floated the idea of having the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) review ABC’s broadcast license.
Meanwhile, FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr recently hinted on Fox that ABC’s controversial daytime program The View could face “consequences” for its relentless attacks on Trump and conservative America.
Conservatives Urged to Stay Vigilant
While many on the Right are eager to see liberal media giants face accountability, Acuna’s warning reminds us: government power, once used, doesn’t just go away — and can be weaponized by the radical Left.
