What was meant to be an attack on President Donald Trump quickly turned into a national joke—showing that the real surge in food prices happened squarely under Biden’s watch.
Democrats Post Inflation Chart – and Prove Trump Was Right
The now-deleted post from the Democrat Party attempted to show that grocery prices hit record highs in 2025 under “Trump’s America.” The graph included data from October 2019 through 2025, citing rising prices in key staples like meat, dairy, and produce.
But users immediately pointed out what the chart truly revealed: prices were flat and stable during Trump’s first term, then skyrocketed after Biden took office in 2021, and only began to level off when Trump returned to the White House in 2024.
