Is Trump An 'Upstanding' Man?

Trump DOJ Raises Eyebrows With New Request

In a major move to restore law and order, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a powerful demand to sheriffs across California: Turn over the names of all illegal immigrants in your jails—or face federal action.

Bondi is requiring sheriffs to provide a full list of non-citizen inmates, their crimes, and release dates within 30 days, warning that the Department of Justice is ready to use subpoenas and other legal tools if needed.

“Every illegal alien has broken the law just by being here,” said DOJ Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle in a post on X. “Those who go on to commit additional crimes are an even greater threat to America’s safety. President Trump has made deporting them a top priority.”

Mizelle added a challenge to California’s left-leaning officials:
“It’s time for sheriffs to honor their oath, protect their communities, and stop shielding dangerous criminals.”

Sheriffs Caught in the Middle

In her letter, Bondi emphasized that county sheriffs are uniquely positioned to help identify and remove illegal immigrants with criminal records—especially in sanctuary jurisdictions that routinely block cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

One of the letters was sent to Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna. His office has refused to comment.

California Politicians Fight to Shield Illegals

While the Trump administration cracks down on violent offenders and repeat criminal aliens, California leaders are fighting tooth and nail to protect them.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) signed an executive order on July 11 demanding information about where federal agents are operating, who they’re arresting, and why. A day earlier, L.A. and surrounding cities joined a lawsuit against the Trump administration over immigration raids.

Meanwhile, left-wing protest groups continue to organize demonstrations and rallies to oppose federal immigration enforcement—even when it targets criminals.

Trump Administration Doubles Down

The DOJ’s firm stance reflects President Trump’s renewed push to secure the border, enforce immigration laws, and put the safety of American citizens first.

“Illegal immigration isn’t just about the border—it’s about our neighborhoods, our families, and our national security,” said one senior official.

With sanctuary cities refusing to cooperate and criminal aliens being released back onto the streets, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Voters across the country are watching California closely—and demanding answers.
