Trump Promised To Seal The Border, Did He Succeed?

Biden Trashes Republicans

President Trump’s America First budget just cleared the House — and Joe Biden isn’t happy about it.

On Thursday, House Republicans passed a historic conservative tax and spending plan that slashes wasteful government programs, strengthens border enforcement, and cuts taxes for working families and small businesses.

But former President Joe Biden quickly took to social media to attack the bill, calling it “reckless” and “cruel.”

Biden criticized the Republican budget on X, calling it “not just irresponsible, but heartless,” and claimed it would gut Medicaid, force rural hospitals to close, and reduce food aid for seniors and veterans.

Biden also claimed the conservative budget could “trigger deep cuts to Medicare” and “drive up the deficit by $4 trillion,” accusing Republicans of favoring “billionaires” over “working people.”

Despite these claims, House conservatives celebrated the bill as a monumental step toward restoring fiscal sanity, promoting energy independence, and defending American taxpayers.

The bill includes:

  • Significant tax relief for middle-class Americans and small business owners
  • A clampdown on illegal immigration, strengthening border enforcement
  • Energy production expansion, reducing dependence on foreign oil and lowering energy costs
  • Targeted reforms to Medicaid and welfare programs to reduce waste and promote accountability

While progressive Democrats blasted the plan as harmful to the poor and elderly, conservative lawmakers said these claims are more about politics than policy.

House Democrats called it the “One Big Ugly Bill,” claiming it would “throw 17 million Americans off their health insurance.” They also warned it would lead to “hospital closures” and “children and seniors going hungry.”

But House Republican leaders strongly disagreed.

“Congressional Republicans have fulfilled our promise to deliver President Trump’s America First vision,” GOP leadership announced in a joint statement. “And we accomplished it faster than ever, so hardworking Americans can start seeing the impact of this historic legislation right away.”

Conservative voters, especially seniors and rural Americans, are welcoming the bill’s passage — hopeful that this new direction will finally rein in spending, restore law and order at the border, and put American families first.

With the bill now heading to the Senate, all eyes are on whether Trump’s bold reform package will become law — and deliver the conservative transformation Washington has needed for decades.
