Joe Rogan Calls Out Trump
Podcast Giant Breaks with Trump on Immigration Raids
Podcast heavyweight Joe Rogan surprised many of his listeners this week by sharply criticizing the Trump administration’s tough stance on illegal immigration—specifically, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) workplace raids that have resumed in full force across the country.
“It’s insane,” Rogan said during his July 1st episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. “These aren’t gang members. These are guys doing drywall and landscaping—construction workers and gardeners.”
Rogan, who endorsed President Trump’s reelection bid last fall, expressed concern about ICE targeting everyday job sites, calling the strategy “nuts” and “over the top.”
Trump’s ICE Strategy: Crack Down on Illegal Employment, Protect U.S. Jobs
While critics like Rogan raise concerns, the Trump administration remains laser-focused on enforcing immigration law and protecting American workers from being undercut by illegal labor networks.
After a brief pause in June, ICE resumed large-scale workplace operations on June 17, following the White House’s directive to achieve 3,000 migrant arrests per day—a key part of President Trump’s broader America First immigration policy.
“These enforcement actions focus on dismantling unlawful hiring networks that harm American workers, disrupt the labor market, and leave vital infrastructure vulnerable,” said Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tammy Bruce.
She added, “Worksite enforcement is essential to safeguard our national security and restore fairness to the labor force.”
Public Backlash and Mass Protests in Liberal Strongholds
In liberal cities like Los Angeles, the reaction was predictable. After news of resumed raids spread, left-wing activists launched mass demonstrations, prompting the Trump administration to deploy thousands of National Guard troops and U.S. Marines to protect federal facilities and personnel.
Despite the backlash, most conservatives strongly support these efforts, arguing that enforcing immigration law is essential to defending American sovereignty and jobs.
Bottom Line: Security or Sympathy?
Joe Rogan’s criticism may resonate in celebrity circles, but among millions of hard-working Americans, there’s still strong support for law-and-order immigration enforcement.
As President Trump continues his aggressive push to secure the border and protect U.S. jobs, the contrast between elite commentary and real-world consequences has never been clearer.
