Governor Picks New Fight With Trump

Democrats double down as Trump pushes to protect children and restore biological truth.

Delaware Democrat Governor Matt Meyer has signed a controversial executive order offering sweeping protections for doctors and patients involved in gender-transition procedures—even after a Supreme Court ruling upheld Tennessee’s right to ban puberty blockers and hormone treatments for minors.

Executive Order Blocks Cooperation With Investigations

Governor Meyer’s order bans state agencies from sharing medical records, billing information, or other data that could support legal action against those involved in so-called gender-affirming care. It also prevents healthcare professionals from facing discipline solely for offering these procedures.

This effectively turns Delaware into a gender ideology sanctuary state, joining California, New York, Illinois, and others that have pledged to shield transgender treatments—regardless of other states’ laws.

Blue States Promote Travel for Transgender Procedures

The order allows individuals, including minors, to travel to Delaware for gender-transition services without fear of legal consequences back home. Liberal lawmakers are calling it a win for “privacy and dignity,” but critics say it’s a dangerous move that undermines parental rights and endangers children.

Rep. Sarah McBride (D-Del.), a transgender activist and the first openly transgender member of Congress, attacked the Supreme Court ruling, claiming it blocks care for “vulnerable patients.”

Trump Administration Stands Firm on Protecting Children

Since returning to office, President Donald Trump has taken a clear stand against the radical transgender agenda. His administration has restored protections for biological women, ended federal funding for irreversible surgeries, and reaffirmed that there are only two genders—male and female.

Parents, faith-based organizations, and conservatives nationwide have applauded Trump’s leadership on this issue. Under his direction, the federal government has stood firmly on the side of science, truth, and protecting children’s health.

Delaware’s Progressive Push

Delaware Democrats, however, are moving further left. The state claims to host over 40,000 LGBTQ individuals and 6,300 transgender adults. In 2013, it legalized same-sex marriage and implemented anti-discrimination laws.

Now, Democrats are escalating their push. The Delaware Democratic Party’s PRIDE Caucus issued a statement urging lawmakers to “act with courage” in defending transgender policies, despite national opposition.

Culture Clash: States’ Rights vs. Gender Ideology

With the Supreme Court backing states like Tennessee, the stage is set for a major clash over gender politics, children’s safety, and parental rights. Red states are working to limit harmful medical procedures, while blue states like Delaware promote themselves as safe havens for irreversible gender transitions.

As this battle escalates, President Trump and conservative leaders continue fighting to protect American values, children’s health, and the truth about biology.
