Republican Rejects Trump’s New ICE Orders

President Trump Prioritizes Farmers While Targeting Criminal Illegal Aliens

Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) is taking a firm stand on immigration enforcement, urging the Trump administration not to ease up on workplace raids — even in industries facing labor shortages.

Appearing on Face the Nation Sunday, Cotton responded to the administration’s recent pause on certain ICE operations, including in agriculture, hotels, and restaurants. He was clear: America must not waver in enforcing its immigration laws.

“I don’t think we should pull back on any kind of enforcement at all,” Cotton said. “We need robust worksite enforcement in every industry. ICE agents on the front lines deserve full support from political leadership.”

Trump: “Protect Our Farmers — Get the Criminals Out!”

President Donald J. Trump, now serving his second term, recently addressed the challenge of balancing strong border security with the needs of small business owners and farmers across the country.

In a bold statement on Truth Social, Trump said:

“Many of our incredible Farmers and folks in the Hospitality and Leisure industries have voiced concerns that our tough immigration enforcement is pulling away long-standing, dependable workers — and those roles are proving extremely difficult to fill. That’s a real problem. We need to stand by our Farmers and business owners, while still removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens from our country. Big changes are on the way!”

DHS Aligns with President Trump: Focus on Criminal Illegal Aliens

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the agency is realigning its priorities under President Trump’s direct leadership. The goal: remove dangerous criminal aliens while protecting the backbone of America’s economy.

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin confirmed the new focus:

“We are committed to carrying out the president’s directives and will remain focused on removing the most dangerous criminal illegal aliens from communities across the country.”

Cotton’s Warning: Don’t Weaken ICE While Crime and Chaos Rise

Senator Cotton emphasized the need for strong immigration enforcement across all sectors. He warned that backing off would send the wrong signal to illegal immigrants and criminal cartels exploiting America’s borders.

“ICE needs to operate in every sector. We can’t allow political messaging to handcuff our enforcement agencies,” Cotton said.

Why It Matters for Conservative Americans

As the Biden-era damage continues to be repaired, President Trump is once again working to secure the southern border, defend American sovereignty, and support our nation’s farmers and small businesses.

With millions of illegal aliens already inside the country, and criminal elements hiding among them, strong and consistent enforcement is more important than ever.
