Trump Golf Club Shut Down?
President Trump’s renowned Trump National Golf Club Bedminster is firing back after New Jersey health officials flagged the property with multiple alleged violations—sparking outrage over what many believe is a clear case of politically motivated targeting.
According to the Somerset County Department of Health, an inspection conducted on May 6 cited 18 violations, including claims that raw meats weren’t properly separated from ready-to-eat foods and that surfaces weren’t fully sanitized. Inspectors gave the club a “C” rating and labeled the facility as “conditionally satisfactory” under a high-risk category.
But management isn’t staying silent—and they’re calling the entire situation a smear campaign against the Trump name.
“Never before have we seen such hostility from a health department. This was not a fair inspection—it was clearly driven by politics,” said David Schutzenhofer, General Manager of Trump National Bedminster.
“Our facility is one of the cleanest, safest, and most luxurious golf destinations in America. We take great pride in our hygiene, service, and hospitality.”
The incident is raising red flags for Trump supporters and watchdog groups who argue that blue-state regulators are using their power to undermine conservative-owned businesses—especially those tied to President Donald J. Trump.
Just hours after Forbes published a story exposing the initial inspection results, a follow-up inspection was conducted. That same day, the golf club’s rating was quietly upgraded to a “B” grade, though six violations reportedly remained—including two labeled “critical.”
Despite the improved rating, the damage was done. The timing of the inspections, paired with the media coverage, has many questioning whether this was a coordinated attempt to embarrass President Trump and damage the reputation of his world-class business ventures.
All profits from Trump National Golf Club Bedminster go to the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, where President Trump remains the sole beneficiary.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about a golf club—it’s about the growing trend of government overreach, especially in Democrat-run states. As President Trump continues to fight for everyday Americans, it’s clear his businesses remain a target for politically driven attacks.
