Has Trump-Musk 'Divorce' Made America A Laughing Stock Like Media Says?

Ted Cruz Break Silence On Trump-Musk Fight

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is urging unity after President Donald Trump and business magnate Elon Musk engaged in a fiery public clash, which spilled across social media Thursday. The Texas senator called the conflict “incredibly unfortunate,” warning that the breakdown between two powerful conservative voices could hurt the America First movement.

Appearing on Hannity Thursday night, Cruz spoke candidly to Fox News host Sean Hannity, calling both Trump and Musk “brilliant patriots” and urging them to work together again for the good of the country.

“You and I both know President Trump and Elon Musk well,” Cruz said. “They’re both extraordinary Americans. What they’ve done for this nation is unmatched.”

Feud Erupts Over Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill”

The conflict began when Musk criticized the president’s economic package, questioning some of the spending provisions. Trump responded strongly, labeling Musk “crazy,” which led to an even more controversial reply from the Tesla CEO—who alluded to secret Epstein files and even backed a call for Trump’s impeachment.

For conservatives, it was a moment of shock.

Cruz: “We Get More Done When They’re United”

Despite the heated exchange, Cruz emphasized the importance of both men to the conservative cause. He praised Musk’s innovations and his work on government efficiency, while applauding President Trump’s daily commitment to restoring American greatness.

“They’re both frustrated,” Cruz said. “But when they’re united, we accomplish more for the American people.”

Cruz added that he believes both men have valid points.

“President Trump is right—this bill needs to pass. It’s essential for job growth and American prosperity. But Elon’s feedback can help us make it even better. This is how we build strong legislation—through passionate debate, not division.”

GOP Bill Hits Senate Turbulence

As the bill moves through the Senate, Musk’s attacks have stirred concern among fiscal conservatives, threatening to slow momentum. Still, Trump allies remain confident that with focus and unity, the bill will pass—and America will win.
