GOP Makes New Biden Discovery
Washington, D.C. – In a bombshell development, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced a formal investigation into a potential abuse of presidential power involving President Joe Biden’s use of an autopen to issue controversial, last-minute pardons.
“We believe we’ve identified the staffer behind it,” Comer said during remarks to the Republican National Lawyers Association. “If this plays out the way we expect, it will raise serious legal questions about the legitimacy of those pardons.”
At the center of the investigation is whether Biden personally authorized the pardons—or if an unelected aide secretly wielded presidential power in the closing days of the administration.
Autopen Used to Pardon Allies, Fauci, and Even Family
The mechanical autopen, capable of replicating a person’s signature, was allegedly used to sign a wave of pardons—including for:
- Members of Nancy Pelosi’s partisan January 6 committee
- Dr. Anthony Fauci, the face of Biden’s pandemic policies
- Gen. Mark Milley, the outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
- Even Biden family members
According to reports, the pardons were issued in the final hours before Biden left office, while he was vacationing and golfing in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Despite being physically absent, each document claimed it was “signed in the city of Washington.”
Trump Slams Pardons as Invalid: “Void and Without Force”
President Donald Trump didn’t hold back. In a statement, he declared the pardons “void, vacant, and of no legal force”, arguing that a machine cannot exercise constitutional authority.
“This is a total disgrace,” Trump said. “Our laws were not written to allow a staffer—or a machine—to grant get-out-of-jail-free cards to Biden’s cronies.”
Heritage Foundation: “Whoever Ran the Autopen Ran the Presidency”
The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project conducted its own probe and made a stunning revelation: Biden’s signature via autopen appeared on “every document we could find.”
That includes six criminal pardons signed on December 30, 2022—while Biden was far from Washington.
“Whoever controlled the autopen controlled the presidency,” the Oversight Project posted to X on March 6.
NY Post: Biden Staffer May Have Abused Authority
A March 14 report from the New York Post revealed that a senior Biden aide may have repeatedly used the autopen without proper clearance.
Two former White House insiders told the Post that the aide acted as if he were the president—frequently stating, “This is what the boss wants,” while taking executive action.
“To me, [the staffer] basically was the president,” one former official said.
Now, Chairman Comer says the committee believes it has pinpointed the identity of that staffer—and Republicans are demanding full transparency.
What This Means for America
This growing scandal raises serious questions about constitutional integrity, accountability, and whether the Biden administration was operating under a shadow presidency controlled by staffers instead of the elected commander-in-chief.
For older Americans who’ve seen decades of political abuse, the situation feels familiar—and dangerous.
