Things Go From Bad To Worse For Harvard
DEI policies, antisemitism scandals, and White House defunding have turned Harvard into a national flashpoint
Harvard University is once again in the hot seat—and billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman says it’s time for a total leadership overhaul.
Ackman, a Harvard graduate himself, issued a scathing post Friday on X, directly calling for the resignation of Harvard Corporation Chair Penny Pritzker and the entire board.
“They are presiding over the destruction of this once-great institution,” Ackman wrote. “At this point, only new leadership can fix this mess.”
Ignored Warnings, Failed Leadership
Ackman revealed that he personally reached out to Harvard’s board to offer help and solutions—only to be ignored.
“I have reached out to members of the @Harvard Corporation Board offering to help, but I have received no response,” he said.
His criticism centers on the university’s controversial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda, which many say has undermined academic excellence and fostered hostility toward Jewish students.
Claudine Gay Scandal Sparked Outrage
Ackman has long warned about Harvard’s downward spiral. In 2024, he wrote an op-ed for The Free Press demanding the board’s resignation amid the plagiarism scandal involving then-president Claudine Gay.
Gay came under fire for dodging questions about antisemitism during a congressional hearing and was later forced to resign.
Trump Administration Cuts Funding
The calls for change have now reached the White House. On May 5, President Donald Trump’s administration blocked federal funding to Harvard, citing the university’s failure to address antisemitic events and meet new federal standards.
The move sent shockwaves through academia and was widely praised by conservative leaders and parents concerned about radicalization in higher education.
“Harvard Is Failing America”
For millions of Americans, Harvard represents more than just a university—it’s a symbol of what’s gone wrong in elite institutions.
Ackman’s latest warning should serve as a wake-up call:
“The situation is dire. The board must resign to restore any hope of saving Harvard.”
Bottom Line
With rising antisemitism, a broken DEI agenda, and federal funding on the line, Harvard’s leadership is under more scrutiny than ever. Conservatives are calling for accountability—and demanding that taxpayer dollars stop funding radical indoctrination.
