The left is imploding.

Even Democrats are now admitting what millions of Americans already knew — Joe Biden’s decision to run for reelection in 2024 was a massive mistake. According to former Democratic Congressman Beto O’Rourke, Biden’s stubborn campaign not only backfired but also helped pave the way for President Donald Trump’s triumphant return to the White House.

In a revealing interview on the far-left “Pod Save America” podcast, O’Rourke delivered a blistering critique of Biden’s 2024 campaign. “He failed this country,” O’Rourke said, adding that the consequences of Biden’s actions may be felt for generations.

“It’s not just you and me,” O’Rourke warned, “but our kids and grandkids who may pay the price. We might very well lose the greatest country this world has ever known.”

O’Rourke — who failed in his bid for Texas governor in 2022 — made it clear that Biden should have stepped aside to allow a new generation of Democrat candidates to take the stage. Instead, Biden insisted on running again, claiming he was the only one capable of defeating Trump — a claim that clearly didn’t hold up.

Biden Ignored the Warning Signs — And Paid the Price

According to O’Rourke, Biden’s refusal to allow an open Democratic primary suppressed fresh ideas and enthusiasm within the party. As a result, millions of Americans — especially younger voters — either stayed home, voted third party, or supported President Trump’s common-sense, America First agenda.

“If anything was clear coming out of 2024,” O’Rourke said, “it’s that the American people wanted real change.”

He also blasted members of Congress who falsely claimed that Biden was mentally sharp and dominating private briefings. “That doesn’t line up with what I’m seeing with my own eyes,” O’Rourke said — reinforcing what many Americans have suspected for years: Biden’s mental fitness was in question, and party insiders knew it.

Even Democrats Say Biden Couldn’t Inspire the Nation

O’Rourke didn’t stop there. At a speech at Harvard’s Kennedy School in 2023, he openly said that Democrats were “unexcited” about another Biden term. Polls showed young voters fleeing the Democrat banner, with many turning to President Trump, RFK Jr., or opting not to vote at all.

“Let’s give them a reason to vote,” O’Rourke said. “Something bold. Something that inspires — like what Trump delivered in 2016 and now again in 2024.”

The Verdict: Biden’s Weak Leadership Helped Trump Win — Again

O’Rourke’s words serve as a stunning indictment from within the Democratic Party. Even their own leaders now admit that Biden’s leadership failed, his 2024 run was a miscalculation, and Donald Trump’s return to the White House was the result of real American dissatisfaction with failed liberal policies.

President Trump is back — because the American people demanded it.
