During a Sunday appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, President Trump was questioned about his administration’s response to a high-profile deportation case involving Kilmar Abrego Garcia—a man the Supreme Court said should be “facilitated” back into the U.S. Trump, in classic fashion, responded with clarity: his legal team, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, would interpret and follow the Court’s ruling lawfully and appropriately.

When asked if he is personally required to uphold the Constitution in such matters, Trump replied, “I don’t know. I have brilliant lawyers that work for me… they’re going to obviously follow what the Supreme Court said.” He added that the mainstream media’s version of the ruling was not the same as what his legal experts interpreted.
