A new poll released by the left-leaning Jewish Electorate Institute is once again showcasing the heavy liberal bias that dominates mainstream reporting on President Donald Trump’s leadership. According to the survey, 72% of American Jewish voters disapprove of the President’s performance and believe the country is moving in the wrong direction.
However, a closer look reveals that the poll overwhelmingly sampled liberal Democrats—70% of respondents identified as Democrats and 60% as self-described liberals—making the results anything but surprising.
Orthodox Jewish Voters: A Growing Conservative Stronghold
While liberal segments of the Jewish community criticized President Trump, Orthodox Jewish voters emerged as a powerful, steadfast base of support. More than 71% of Orthodox Jews said they approve of Trump’s leadership, with 67% reporting they voted for him—outpacing votes for Democrat Kamala Harris by over three times.
Additionally, 65% of Orthodox Jews identified as Republicans, while only 27% aligned with Democrats. This solid conservative support showcases President Trump’s strong connection with religious, values-driven Americans—a demographic that continues to grow each year.
President Trump’s Commitment to Fighting Antisemitism Recognized by Religious Leaders
Although liberal respondents gave low marks, President Trump received his highest approval ratings on his handling of antisemitism. Among all U.S. Jews polled, 31% approved of his actions to combat domestic Jew-hatred, an important issue for American families concerned about rising hostility.
Conservative Jewish organizations like the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV)—which represents over 2,500 Orthodox rabbis nationwide—praised President Trump’s efforts to protect Jewish communities, especially against antisemitism on college campuses.
“These left-leaning groups have abandoned the very communities they claim to represent,” the CJV said, criticizing Reform and Reconstructionist rabbis. “The overwhelming majority of America’s learned rabbinic leaders deeply appreciate the Trump administration’s tireless efforts to safeguard our religious freedoms.”

Despite constant attacks from liberal media outlets, President Trump continues to command significant support from America’s faith-based communities, especially among Orthodox Jews who value strong leadership, religious freedom, and national security.
