Trump Announces 2 More Endorsements
President Donald Trump is doubling down on Arizona—offering a rare dual endorsement in one of the most closely watched governor’s races in the nation.
In a bold move posted Monday on Truth Social, President Trump gave his “complete and total endorsement” to two strong conservative Republicans: respected business leader Karrin Taylor Robson and long-serving conservative lawmaker Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).
“Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions,” Trump wrote. “Either one will never let you down.”
Trump Backs Taylor Robson and Andy Biggs: “Both Are America First Warriors”
Trump initially endorsed Taylor Robson when she first approached him about running, noting that no other candidates had entered the race at that time. But after Rep. Biggs officially joined, Trump said he faced a unique challenge—two trusted allies in the same race.
“I endorsed Karrin early and was happy to do so,” Trump said. “When Andy jumped in, quite unexpectedly, it became a tough decision. That’s why I’m backing them both.”
Karrin Taylor Robson Launches Second Bid for Arizona Governor
Robson, a longtime conservative advocate and successful Arizona businesswoman, announced her candidacy in February. Her campaign video featured Trump speaking highly of her at a 2024 rally in Arizona.
This marks her second run for governor, after narrowly losing the 2022 Republican primary to Kari Lake. Lake went on to lose a highly disputed race against Democrat Katie Hobbs, whose tenure has faced criticism from conservative voters.
Rep. Andy Biggs Brings Grassroots Energy and Freedom Caucus Credentials
Rep. Biggs, a staunch defender of constitutional liberties and chair of the House Freedom Caucus, entered the race earlier this year. A well-known figure in conservative circles since 2016, Biggs has remained one of President Trump’s most vocal allies on Capitol Hill.
Biggs recently faced a personal tragedy with the death of his daughter. Both Taylor Robson and Governor Hobbs offered public condolences, a rare moment of bipartisan sympathy.
Following Trump’s statement, Biggs responded on X (formerly Twitter):
“It’s been an honor to fight for your agenda since 2016. I’m ready to do it again as Governor of Arizona, the greatest state in the nation!”
Arizona: A Battleground Ready to Turn Red Again
With Arizona flipping red in the most recent presidential election, Republicans see 2026 as a prime opportunity to retake the governor’s mansion. Governor Hobbs currently holds a 46% approval rating, according to Noble Predictive Insights, but growing dissatisfaction with Democrat policies—especially among seniors—may tip the scales.
Both GOP candidates bring strong conservative credentials and deep-rooted ties to Arizona’s values. With Trump’s powerful endorsement, Robson and Biggs are now leading the charge to restore common sense, secure borders, and put Arizona back on a path to prosperity.
