President Donald J. Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday for his annual physical exam, reassuring supporters with a powerful message: “I’ve never felt better.”
The 78-year-old Commander-in-Chief shared the update on his Truth Social account, saying the routine checkup had been long scheduled.
“I’m glad to share that my annual physical—planned well in advance—will take place this Friday at Walter Reed,” Trump announced. “I feel better than ever, but checkups like this are still important!”
A Return to Routine After a Near-Fatal Assassination Attempt
This is Trump’s first physical exam since beginning his second term and comes less than a year after a shocking assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Doctors called it a miracle. Former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a Congressman from Texas, revealed that the bullet missed Trump’s head by mere millimeters, grazing the top of his right ear.
“It is an absolute miracle he wasn’t killed,” Jackson said in an earlier statement.
